ABOUT UNIORG

UNIORG, established in 2024, is a premier institution specializing in the study of orgtology – the science of organisation. With a unique curriculum and dedicated Study Centres, we empower students with practical skills and critical knowledge in the fields of organizational science, strategy development and implementation, organisational design, risk management, performance assessment, environmental analysis, and executive coaching.

Our approach combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, equipping students to navigate and lead in an evolving, complex global landscape. UNIORG is a cyber-based university, registered in South Africa. Yet, we admit students around the globe. Where a country has enough students, we establish an orgtology community where students and experienced Orgtologists can network and learn from each other. In so, we are committed to academic rigor, community engagement, and cultivating the next generation of organizational leaders.

MR. DEREK HENDRIKZ

Derek is not just the founder of Orgtology — he’s the architect of a movement. As the creator of the Certified Orgtologist Programme (COP), he took his work across borders, delivered over 100 high-impact projects, and partnered with more than 200 companies in 27 countries. When Derek steps into a room, organizations don’t just change — they evolve.

DR. MATTHIAS KHATCHADOURIAN (PHD)

Matthias is Internationally accredited Leadership Coach and Mentor (ICF/CMI and ILM Gold Standard Award), Business Consultant with over twenty-five years of proven experience in equipping thousands of professionals and academic students in retail and non-retail businesses in Eastern Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East – notably in the Arabian Gulf Countries. Matthias obtained defined knowledge in advanced leadership studies (Switzerland, USA). He had been in positions as National Director of an American organization in Eastern Europe, Group Training Manager of a multi-national retail business in Dubai, the General Manager of a Management Consultancy and as the Regional Sales and Marketing Director of a Korean Electronics.

Muctaru is a distinguished Orgtology practitioner and scholar, boasting 25+ years of experience across diverse sectors. He has played a central role in enhancing Orgtology’s principles, collaborating with peers to rigorously evaluate and refine its concepts through seminars, research, and consultations in Southern Africa. His involvement extends beyond his professional realm, as he has actively participated in civic initiatives and co-founded the Southern Africa Professional Trainers Association. Muctaru’s expertise spans finance, strategy, and organizational dynamics, making him a catalyst for effective management and transformative change. Armed with a profound understanding of Orgtology’s framework, he offers strategic insights that contribute significantly to organizational success.

MR. HEINO GATES

COP MODULE TWO TUTOR

Heino Gates is the co-founder and CEO of Amber Digital Agency and currently an advanced student of Orgthology. With 25 years experience in working with digital media and creative interactive technologies. He spent 10+ years as lecturer and HOD at The Open Window where he helped to shape the minds of many of today’s industry leaders. He is passionate about human-computer interaction, design, and emerging technologies, like AI. Through Amber Digital, Heino currently creates and employs digital solutions that empowers business and creates value for both business and people.

MS. KHETHIWE GUMEDE

Khethiwe Tracy Gumede is a certified and experienced Orgtologist and a member of the IOI Council of Elders. In addition to Orgtology, Khethiwe is experienced in a diverse range of fields such as fundraising, lecturing, sales, digital content development, project coordination and campaign management which speaks to her adaptable nature. She enjoys interdisciplinary, integrated work which involves creative problem solving, analysis, design, technology, business, organisation and education. She has been educated up to Master’s level on 3 continents.
